At Potro's Meat, our mission is to bring the true quality of Argentine beef to Canada.
We work directly with small family-owned farms in Argentina’s Pampas, where cattle are raised on natural pastures in western Buenos Aires Province and eastern La Pampa Province. These cattle, primarily Angus, Hereford, and their crosses are carefully selected to ensure exceptional flavor, tenderness, and consistency.
Our producers follow strict standards for animal welfare and natural grazing, with no hormonal additives or antibiotics, and full traceability throughout production. By working closely with trusted producers who share a long tradition of responsible livestock farming, we are able to maintain strict quality control from origin to export.
In addition to our imported Argentine beef, we also partner with trusted local providers to offer premium AAA beef, including traditional Argentine cuts as well as a wide range of other high-quality beef cuts to meet the needs of our clients.
Our goal is simple: to deliver exceptional beef with transparency, consistency, and uncompromising quality.
